Hey guys! It's Wednesday! Whoo hoo! Almost the weekend!
Movies: This weekend I plan on seeing Land of the Lost. I will tell you my opinion of the movie after I see it.
Other: There is a French Food gathering in LA on Sunday and I might go. Your probably thinking "What's a French Food gathering?" Well I don't know what else to call it so I called it that. A bunch of French chefs are going to make a bunch of French food and if you go, you get to fill up your plate full of samples of the food. There are appetizers, main courses, drinks, and desserts! The food includes a variety of cheeses, leg of lamb, ratatouille, eclairs, pastries, and soooooo much more. If I go, I will tell you all about it!

Happy Tuesday :)!! So I forgot to post yesterday. I don't have much news, but I do have one special treat for Twilight Fans.
Movies/TV- the MTV movie awards were on Sunday Night. Twilight and the people from Twilght won a lot of awards. Kristen dropped hers (embarassing :O). So at the awards, they showed a sneak peek of New Moon (coming out November 20th). If you saw the sneak peek, then I hope you will agree with me when I say "It looked way better than Twilight and actually followed the book!" I really want to see it and can't wait for more sneak peaks! It also seems like they learned how to act! LOL. I will keep you updated on more information. Have a great day :D!

Oh :o! I forgot.
Tv shows: Gilmore Girls might be coming back. I say might because on ABC Family, I saw a commercial for Season 8. But online it says that there might not be a season 8. I will keep you posted on more information. If you don't know what Gilmore Girls is, I suggest you rent seasons 1-7. It is an awesome show!!

Hello! This is my first official post of The Blast :P!
Movies: I recently saw Dance Flick. I thought it would be funny because it's making fun of so many dance movies and shows. Such as: High School Musical, Step Up and Step Up 2, America's Best Dance Crew, Stomp The Yard, and sooooo much more. I can't remember all the movies that they made fun of because there were so many. Anyways, I thought it would be funny, but instead it was really stupid. I think I laughed more during the previews then the actual movie. So I don't recommend it unless you want to see it on DVD.
Books: I haven't been reading many books lately. But Skinned is a good book. It is a fantasy book and is sort of like the Uglies series (also really good books).
Music: If you like Reggae, then check out Serani. His song No Games has really good lyrics and a cool Reggae feel.

Twilight Action Figures:
Whoops! I seem to have lost the link :(, but don't worry...they haven't even been made yet! I will let you know when they have!

Twilight Premiere in LA was Monday!!! I was gonna go, but many things came up (like fires that we almost had to evacuate for) so I didn't end up going :(.

On Tuesday, Paramore and Taylor and Kellan and others were at the mall, Hollywood and Highland, in Hollywood, CA. It was all free. Miss Monday from my channel TheLifeOfTwilighters went, so make sure to check out her video next Monday.

The rating is finally here!
The Twilight movie will be rated PG-13!!! It may be a while until Breaking Dawn is out in theaters, but Rob thinks it will be rated R and Stephenie Meyer doesn't know how they will do baby Renesmee because her facial features are so formed that a real baby wouldn't work. Hopefully technology will have advanced by then. For right now, I only have to say "Hooray" to the Twilight Movie!!! Only 70 more days 2 go!!!!

MTV Video Music Awards!

Hey everyone!!! I watched the VMA's and the Twilight cast was on there!!! When I heard that they were on their.....I wanted 2 watch it!!! So, the host, Russell Brand (celeb in UK) introduced Kristen, Rob, Taylor, and Caleb and they were introducing Paramore. Even though I had never heard of Russell Brand, he wasn't that bad of a host, but the thing I HATED was he kept cutting off Rob. Everytime Rob started to speak, Russell would cut him off and he did this like 2 or 3 times. It didn't look like he did this on purpose, but still. I was like "OMG. Let Rob Speak!!"
Before the show, Rob was interviewed a few times. My favorite interview of Rob was when somebody asked "Are you signed for all 4 movies?" and Rob answered "Yes!" I almost flipped out!!! They are gonna make all the books into movies!!!! Whoo Hoo!!! Stephenie did say Breaking Dawn was gonna have 2 be split into 2 movies, but that is a while from now....at least we can look forward to all the books being made into movies!!

Inside the mag, it features pictures, movie information, and Breaking Dawn information. It is out at bookstores now and will be in grocery stores this Friday! Bonjour! That is hello in French. I am going to focus on Paris!!

Paris has amazing sites!
The Eiffel Tower comes to mind when people think of paris. It is an incredible landmark!! Another incredible site is the Arc De Triomphe. It is a huge archway that is of great size!! The third landmark is the Louvre. It is a huge museum. It is so big that you can't finish it in one day. It combines modern architecture with old eighteenth century acrchitecture. There are many more landmarks, too!

The language is also beautiful!
It is very easy to learn. If you attempt the language, the people of France are very helpful and appreciative. Pick up a book or learn a few key words before taking off!!

Last, but not least, is the FASHION!!
The fashion is incredible. Everyone dresses to impress. And how can you not look good? Your in Paris with amazing people, sites, and language! Below are some examples of the fashion.

Coach!!

I am going to stick with Coach again this week. Today I am going to talk about Coach at my school. (Pictures will be posted soon.)

Accessories complete every outfit!! I have a good friend who has Coach glasses. They are very simple, like the bags featured in the ads. Her glasses are black w/ pink on the inside. She also has a Coach glasses case to go w/ them. Although, Coach jewlery isn't a big thing at my school, it may be popular at another school.

Bags are a must!! Many people have coach bags. Even though I don't personally know anyone with a coach bag, I have seen some. The bags are mainly brown/tan or white. I think that the ad campaign will boost Coach's bag sales.

Shoes are also a big thing!! I know a couple people w/ coach tennis shoes. Sometimes they are brown/tan and sometimes they are white w/ pink, blue. yellow, etc. They are very cute tennis shoes, too.

Coach is the inspiration this week. I love their new ad campaign. I love everything about it. From the colors to the clothes to the accessories; it has it all. The models look like they love what they are doing. And the great thing about it is, you would never know it was Coach. The Coach logo isn't anywhere on the bags or accessories or clothes. Milan Street Chic

Street Chic from Milan!! Milan has very high fashion street chic. It
may be similar to New York, but totally different.
Milan is all about the person wearing the clothes. If
the person wants to be comfortable
or if they want to be trendy; it is all about them! The first photo is laid back!!
The tops look very comfy, but are a great color on her. Her jeans are very stylish because they are skinny. The jacket is a perfect addition to this outfit. The flats are just what the outfit needed. This outfit is very "chic!"
The second photo above is very "earthy!!" The tones of her outfit are all khaki, but aren't boring. The dress is very casual and the green around the neck line really adds some color to it. The short, cropped jacket is very cute, too. The shoes and the bag are all the accessories this outfit needs. This outfit says "down to earth!"
The third photo above is so sophisticated!! The jacket is a wonderful shade of blue. This is a little black dress we should all have. The tights are a perfect addition. The oversized bag adds a pop of color. If this outfit could talk it would say "trendy!"
The fourth photo above is glamorous!! The oversized belt is such a great way to dress up this simple sweater. The skinny jeans are "in" at the moment. The bag and shoes make this outfit easy to wear day or night. This look is a great example of "modernity!"

New York Street Chic

Street Chic from New York!! New York Street Chic is all about the
fashion!! It is very HIGH fashion; of course it has its
punk, too!! These pictures do
look very high fashion, but of course half of that is the setting, but the other half is just that these ladies know fashion!! That is a fact!!
The first photo is just all around fabulous!! The sweater is very simple and is a great way to make this outfit casual. The top is very simple, but without it this outfit would be nothing. The skirt puts the chic in street chic!! This outfit screams "originality!"
The second photo above is very designer-esque!! The outfit is head-to-toe designer quality!! The blue shirt and skirt really make this look monochromanic, but with those few accessories, the look comes to life. The large, 2 buckle belt is a huge trend at the moment. The shoes are also outstanding in every way!! This look is so "chic!"
The third photo above is very gorgeous!! It is all about the grey and blue. I love how this simple dress can be paired with an oversized shirt, a cute tote and some simple black heels. This outfit really defines, "a little goes a long way!"
The fourth photo above is real model behavior!! The skinny jeans show that they know the trends and their shoes really compliment thier whole ensemble. The jackets these ladies have on are so retro and very modern!! This look has "trendy" written all over it!

These looks are straight from the streets of New York and are a great example of street chic!!

Menswear and Carolina Herrera

It has been so long since I have posted, but I am back.

Menswear is a fall favorite. It is all over the runways, magazines, television and it's even on regular women and moms. Many teenagers are sporting the look, too. Vests seem to be the main look teens wear. Vests can be comfortable, yet stylish. Trousers have been seen worn by Emma Roberts and Victoria Beckham. Button-up tees have been a long time favorite. Button-up tees look the best with a collar worn under a sweater vest or a dress. Even though the suit jacket is mostly business wear, women have been wearing it for ages. Menswear seems to be doing well this season.

Carolina Herrera is a long time favortite designer. Herrera started her company in the 80's and has been working ever since. Since she is Venezuelan, that is wear most of her inspiration comes from. She is a very successful designer who seems to be coming up with bigger and better designs every collection. Her fall collection was a BIG hit. Lets see what she comes up with next!!

This week I am focusing on "Bold Colors." I have found some bold colors from Michael Kors's (The Designer Of The Week) Fall '07 runway. He is focusing on the color yellow, but bold colors can be many different colors. These colors can brighten a day look or a night look. Fist Day Of High School

Today was my first day of high school. I met up with my best friend, otherwise known as my "twin." My "twin" is Kendra and she is such a good friend. Even though I love her to death, she can be kind of air headed or spacey. She came over this morning and my mom drove us to school.

We walked into the school and saw a sea of people. It reminded me of being in the ocean. In the ocean there are so many different types of fish. There are the designers, which are the jocks. There are also many spectators like celebrities, photographers, and social-lites; which compare to the cliques. And then there are the models, which is me. The freshmen are looked as an equal with the models. We are picked on, pushed around, and are given tough tasks. Even though we may not expierence this on the first day, it may come for some people. Well these things are just what I hear and interpret from movies.

My first day was nothing like that. It was actually pretty boring. The school is very crowded. There are close to 3,000 students. I had a college prep class first period. This class will teach me about colleges and help me with my application. I moved on to second period which is Biology CP. CP stands for college prep. This biology class will help prepare for college, too. In biology there were a lot sophmores. Third period I have Art Fundamental with Kendra. It wasn't a great class, but it might get better. For fourth period I discovered I had a super boring class, it was 9th Grade Honors. The teacher was super boring and the class atmosphere was... well there are no words to describe the atmoshpere. We didn't have lunch today, so I can't describe that. After fourth period I met up with Kendra again we went to PE Dance. Our schedule said it was in the dance room, but after waiting in front of the room for about ten minutes. we thought we should go to the small gym. Sure enough that was where we were suppose to be. My last period was Geometry. My teacher was really nice and I am in a class with sophmores. Overall my school day was good.

Tomorrow we have a Pep Rally!!! I'll keep you posted!! Good Night!
